Welcoming Rachel Bird to Ellevated Outcomes
This month, we’re dripping out fun little sneak peaks to our upcoming Client Appreciation Event. One of its purposes is to highlight our full team to clients: the width and depth of our bench, with our varying strategy superpowers. Well, I’ve been dying for some time to tell you about our newest colleague with an experience way, way different than Erin, Tammy, Madyson, and me. Her name is Rachel Bird, and she joins us from Amazon, with a background in supply chain(!).
A friend recently commented on something about our business that made me really proud. She said, “That’s so smart, how you’re adding people with different technical skillsets. When I had my [marketing & branding] business, it caught up to me that I was the only one, skill-wise.” It was really wonderful to hear her say this because (a) I take her discerning opinion very seriously. (b) Building the business this way – and at the world-class level we’re endeavoring to – is hard. But I do think it’s the right way to be doing it: for those of us who work here and who are learners and growers. And for our clients, to get the best possible product and outcomes.
So without further adieu, please meet the newest complement to our suite of people… Rachel Bird!
Rachel is a spirited business professional with a knack for developing meaningful relationships. She joins Ellevated Outcomes after almost a decade in fulfillment and operations, and she’s excited to translate her experience to the small business sector. Rachel is delighted in helping entrepreneurs define their company’s core values, her top 3 are:
1. Authenticity. Choosy about choosing.
2. Presentation. The aesthetics, the preparation, and the delivery all matter.
3. Experience. How you make people feel with your product, service, or interaction.
She is a native to Florida, but after graduating from Auburn University, she has spent most of her adult life moving around the country chasing career ambition. Rachel now resides in Nashville with her significant other and big-fluffy Newfie dog.
In her free time, you can find Rachel scoping out the local restaurant scene, frequenting her favorite coffee shop, or catching a live show at one of the treasured venues in Nashville. When she is not eating and drinking (coffee) she enjoys the arts and aesthetics, especially when found pillaging through estate sales.
Rachel’s strategy superpower is business operations and process improvement.
Welcome, Rachel! Thank you for choosing to be with us!
PS: you may remember that in our job post, that we ask candidates for an introduction to life outside of work, via a cover letter, video, or other media. And um… this riff on 73 Questions Vogue was Rachel’s submission. I was blown. away. The bar is now raised, everyone, ha!
